Profiles of the London Bombers

More and more information emerges

LONDON, July 14 – As police release more and more information on the four suspected suicide bombers we can now establish informative profiles on each of them. Let’s take a look one by one.

First up is Shahzad Tanweer, 22 years old and a student of Leeds Metropolitan University where he studied sports science and got particularly interested in cricket. He died during the suicide attack on a subway train near Aldgate station. No serious criminal record existed of Shahzad and he was actually very beloved in his community.

Second is Habib Hussain, 18 years old and attendee of the local Matthew Murray high school. Allegedly his serious interest in the Islam began two years ago, the most serious offense he was arrested for was disorderly behaviour. He is held responsible for the bombing on the double-decker bus on Tavistock Square and the police released an image of him taken by a CCTV camera as he passed Luton train station wearing a backpack.

Third on the list is Mohammed Sidique Khan, 30 years old and only recently a resident of West Yorkshire. He has not yet been named an official suspect by the police but media believe his documents are the ones police officials are talking about which were found in at the Edgware subway bombing as well as the Aldgate site. There is no evidence yet that he is indeed the third suicide bomber as it isn’t even confirmed that he died in any of the explosions.

Fourth is Lindsey Germaine, BBC and SkyNews have identified the Jamaican-born as the fourth bomber who likely died in the blast between King’s Cross and Russell Square. No further information is available on this suspect.

The man believed to be the mastermind behind this terror attack is still at large. Reports indicate this might be the Egyptian-born academic Magdy Asi el-Nashar who recently did biochemical research at the Leeds University. He has been missing from campus since early July and it is believed that he already left the country.

House Resolution 776 threatens Women’s Rights

Thursday, July 14th, 2005

By Simi Lipsan
Women’s rights are in grave danger. We have pharmacists refusing to fill prescriptions for birth control; the Bush administration is looking to replace Sandra Day O’Connor with a more conservative justice and we have House Resolution 776 introduced By Rep. Ronald Paul [R-TX].

HR 776, the Sanctity of Life Act of 2005, is in my opinion, a detriment to the women of this country. The act states: “The Congress finds that present day scientific evidence indicates a significant likelihood that actual human life exists from conception. Upon the basis of this finding, and in the exercise of the powers of the Congress–
(1) the Congress declares that-(A) human life shall be deemed to exist from conception, without regard to race, sex, age, health, defect, or condition of dependency; and (B) the term “person” shall include all human life as defined in subparagraph (A) and (2) the Congress recognizes that each State has the authority to protect lives of unborn children residing in the jurisdiction of that State.”

By stating that life begins at conception, abortion automatically becomes murder.

Congressman Paul, let’s put aside, for the moment, the fact that the government should not have the right to dictate what I can do to my body, and focus only on the implications and consequences of this act.

This bill leaves no room for change regardless of circumstance. This means in the case of rape or incest, a woman will be forced to go through the pregnancy, having a constant daily reminder of the trauma, delaying her ability to try and get over it and to go on with her life. Trust me sir, a rape is something that takes time to put behind you, and to have to wait for nine months to even begin to heal is cruel and can be as emotionally devastating as the rape itself. Congressman, you have 5 children and 17 grandchildren, if one of your daughters or granddaughters was raped and impregnated, would you really want her to have the child? Would you make her carry the child to term so she could put it up for adoption? Would you be able to look at her face every day and see her reliving the trauma every time she looks at herself in the mirror? Would you be able to look at her growing belly knowing that it is not from an act of love, but from an act of violence and feel what she is going through is right?

What about cases where the mother’s life is threatened? Should not the woman be the one to decide if she is willing to give up her own life for that of her unborn child. After all, she stands a much better chance of having another child, than the child does of having its mother.

The bill makes no provisions in the case of teenage pregnancy. In my opinion children should not be having children and if my teenage daughter got pregnant, I would want her to have an abortion. I’m sure you think adoption would be a better alternative and for some it may be, however, teenage mothers are less likely to gain adequate weight during their pregnancy, leading to low birthweight, which is associated with infant and childhood disorders and a high rate of infant mortality. Low-birthweight babies are more likely to have organs that are not fully developed, which can result in complications such as bleeding in the brain, respiratory distress syndrome, and intestinal problems. Teenage mothers tend to have poor eating habits and are less likely to take recommended daily multivitamins to maintain adequate nutrition during pregnancy.

They are also more likely to smoke, drink or take drugs during pregnancy, which can cause health problems for the baby. Teenage mothers are less likely to seek regular prenatal care. Prenatal care is essential for monitoring the growth of the fetus; keeping the mother’s weight in check; and advising the mother on nutrition and how she should take care of herself to ensure a healthy pregnancy. According to the American Medical Association, babies born to women who do not have regular prenatal care are 4 times more likely to die before the age of 1 year. These are not going to be the babies that will be easy to adopt. Also keep in mind that in the United States, the annual cost of teen pregnancies from lost tax revenues, public assistance, child health care, foster care, and involvement with the criminal justice system is estimated to be about $7 billion. Come on Congressman, you’re a doctor; I shouldn’t have to tell you this.
Making abortion illegal will not stop abortions. What it will stop is safe abortions and women will die unnecessarily. There will be more unwanted children, more infants found dead or dying in dumpsters, more children in a foster care system with an already inadequate number of qualified caretakers. If the law is going to insist that all children be brought into this world, the law needs to wait until the world is ready to accept and care for all of them.

U.S. Chief Justice Rehnquist Hospitalized

Second vacancy at Supreme Court seems inevitable

WASHINGTON, July 13 – Today U.S. Chief Justice William Rehnquist was hospitalized with a fever. Wide speculation suggests that this may lead to a second vacancy in the Supreme Court since Rehnquist has been suffering from thyroid cancer for almost a year now. This comes as a surprise after the resignation of Supreme Court member Sandra Day O’Connor on July 1st.

The already fierce battle between the Republicans and Democrats will get even fiercer if there will indeed be a second vacancy now Rehnquist’s health may take a turn for the worse. It is already known that Bush will not discard the chance to replace the often progressive O’Connor with a more conservative member. Rehnquist is already considered to be one of the most conservative members so his potential replacement might not make a big difference although the Democrats would love to have an edge in the nine-member high court.

The last time two Supreme Court vacancies at the same time occurred was in late 1971, Rehnquist filled one of the two vacancies. He now has led the Supreme Court for 19 years while being a member for 15 years before he was promoted to chief justice. During Rehnquist’s conservative lead he has fought to expand the rights of the state, he has restricted appeals by death row inmates and he has allowed more public funding of religious activities.

Sex, Getting What You Want.

Tuesday, July 12th, 2005

Strawberry teaches you how to get your housewife / long-term lover back in the sack.
In the beginning, you never had to ask for sex did you? It was considered a basic food group that you would consume on a daily basis. I bet at one time or another, you found yourself having morning sex and you probably caught a blow job anywhere from – on your kitchen table to the living room sofa and probably in some public facility. And you most likely didn’t even have to shower before hand. Ahhh yes, the golden days of dirty after work sex when you were wanted. But it’s different now. You might find yourself these days having appointment sex with your own spouse or long term relationship lover. There’s no longer a sexual chemistry. So, where did it all go wrong? STOP LOOKING IN THE MIRROR. Regardless of what Doctor Phil says the problem is with your lover. Somewhere along the line, she forgot what that wink and grin means. What that nudge or the rub on the ass implies. Well, for Christ sake it’s not your fault she has memory loss! But you can help her regain it. Screw getting her some flowers they only die and within a day or two she won’t appreciate them. Forget about the candy it only makes her teeth rot and how attractive will you really find her if she looks like a jack-o-lantern when she smiles? And no, the answer is not taking her out to dinner constantly. It will only lead her to gaining weight and her thinking that she is FAT is not going to help you get any. Well have you told her what you want? That would be my first suggestion. It’s like walking into the food store and expecting a worker there to know what you want and then shop for you. It’s not going to happen. So, tell her what you want and don’t hold back. Be honest and make sure you sound sincere. Women eat it up. So now that you have taken it upon yourself to tell her you want her to try being on top for once, she replies BUT I AM FAT. This is where you need to learn how to work the charm. I suggest that you know of a feature on her body that she is content with already. Then tell her about it. For instance, let’s say she is a bit over weight BUT she has nice breasts and gorgeous eyes. You could respond to her by saying are you kidding me? Unattractive? No honey that isn’t you. You have gorgeous breasts. Are you kidding me? Do you have any idea how many women wish they had breasts like yours. And she may say yeah so, look at me. Then that’s your opportunity to tell her you always do and you get lost in her beautiful eyes. What you just did was compliment her and when she tried to counter punch it with a negative response, you were able to throw her back another compliment. At this point she shouldn’t be arguing with you. She should be blushing. Maybe even twirling her hair. But if she puts up a little resistance or gives you the “well, I don’t know” line. Then you have no choice but to go for the jugular. Yeah, the big Kahuna. You got it. THE LIE! Now now, don’t give me that look! Like she actually looked good in that dress? Mmhmm. Got my point? Good. So, you got her on top. She’s doing something up there but it’s not exactly what you had thought it would be like. So, what do you do now? Well, you can’t tell her that she sucks. That will only discourage her from doing it again. So, in that bedroom voice of yours, that at one time would give her goose bumps, tell her to move a certain way and when she does it make it known that you like it that way! That it feels incredible. That no woman has ever done that as perfectly before. Encouraging her both during and soon after the act is done will encourage her to do it on her own more often. Well, it’s done. The cigarettes are lit and one of you has gotten up to get something to drink. Well, don’t think you’re done. This is where the “encouraging soon after the act is done” takes place. Even if it’s just for 5 minutes. You have to reinforce that what the two of you just experienced was wonderful, that she is absolutely beautiful and that you love her. I saw that! Stop crossing your fingers under the comforter! Be sincere and remember that at this point you’re fishing. She already took the bait, now you have to reel her in. One more thing, as the sex begins again remember to continue discussing it with her. Open it up for suggestions. Tell her that your sex life with her has begun to flourish again and that because it is so wonderful and so incredible you don’t want to see it fizzle out again. Ask her what she wants from you. From there the path is all up to you and how well you convey to her what it is that you want. Don’t be afraid to tell her or even ask her. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Hopefully one day she will feel comfortable with buying toys, surprising you with sexy lingerie and introducing fruits and syrups to your sex. It’s all possible! Hell, you may actually come home one day to find her watching porn. Just don’t rush it. Take it slow and judge it wisely. Women are like dogs. If you don’t tell them “good job” when they retrieve your newspaper, they may end up shitting on your lawn. Well, not literally. Then again, there goes that kinky public sex you always wanted! Come back in two weeks to find out how to introduce THE THIRD PARTY. No, no, no, get that threesome out of your head, for now. I am talking about something else. So, come back in two weeks to find out all about what it is and how to use it to your advantage.

London Police Make arrest in Terrorist Investigations

Information implies 4 suicide bombers were used

WEST YORKSHIRE, July 12 – Investigations on the bombings in London on last Thursday have led to at least one arrest in West Yorkshire and a couple of raids in Leeds. There have been reports of one controlled explosion in a house in Leeds and at least 500 people evacuated from that area. Meanwhile documents on the missing man on the London bus were found in the leftovers which may imply they belong to the suicide bomber.

At Luton station car park there were at least three controlled explosions on cars. Scotland Yard reports six warrants have been issued by now. Police reported that it’s likely that one suspect died at the Aldgate explosion, suggesting that the terror attack may have been led by four suicide bombers.

This morning police started this big operation after the warrants were issued. After the raids in West Yorkshire and Leeds the police continued at Luton station, and at this moment the investigation is still ongoing.

Today police also recovered the identity of two more victims, the death count is at 52 for the horrible terror attack on London. Police officials have stated that they will do anything to bring those responsible to justice, urging that no terror attack on London has ever gone unpunished. Meanwhile security officials have expressed their concerns about future attacks, while there are no direct indications of an attack it will be inevitable over time.

U.S. Forces in Iraq Deny Hasty Withdrawal

Spokesman contradicts secret memo

BAGHDAD, July 11 – Spokesman for the U.S. forces in Iraq Lieutenant Colonel Steve Boylan stated today: “We’re not aware of any disagreements or pressure from either Centcom or the Pentagon on the plan for a conditions- based drawdown or withdrawal of coalition forces, we have had many of our senior commanders on the record as saying we are working toward a conditions-based withdrawal.”

A secret British memo leaked last week and was published in the British newspaper Mail on Sunday after being confirmed genuine by high ranking officials. The memo stated that the U.S. is hoping to cut down the forces in Iraq to 66,000 from the current 176,000 troops. There was also information suggesting that the top officials in the Pentagon and Centcom (regional command) were keener to cut down the troops than the actual ground forces, insinuating differing opinions on the matter among military leaders.

Britain’s forces might be cut down from 8,500 to 3,000 over the next year, a move widely expected and now confirmed by this memo. President Bush said last month that the U.S. will withdraw all troops when the Iraqi army is ready to take over, “As the Iraqis stand up, we will stand down,” he noted in a recent speech.
